  • Pre-registration is now open here.

Pre-registration is not a commitment to attend and full registration will follow in the spring.

  • Contact us to ask questions or to schedule a meeting.

  • Thrive will be a subset of a public online school (pending registration), so essentially: yes!

Thrive’s teacher offers an in-person day and also supports your child’s home learning for the other four days—so students are enrolled in Thrive full time.

While children who are enrolled in Thrive are very welcome to attend other local programming throughout the week, a child can’t be enrolled in another school (including online schools) and be enrolled in Thrive at the same time.

  • K - 4, with a possibility of expanding into older grades in future years.

  • Learners gather once a week at a community room rental in James Bay in Victoria, BC. The rest of the week, learners learn at home!

  • Because it is offered through a BC public school, Thrive is free!

  • Yes! We teach to the BC curriculum by following learner interests, crafting a unique learning plan for each child. Families are supported by a BC educator to grow their child’s skills in all subject areas.

  • We have an arts focus because learners who are creating are more engaged and groups that are creating together are more cohesive. We take this ethos of learner creation into all subject areas, making the learning meaningful for each child. Plus, the arts are fun!
